Silver Wings is not on this list. You also haven't updated that fic since 2004.

Anonymous is displeased.

Guilty as charged. :(

Silver Wings is a fic that, quite honestly, I'm not sure I can finish anymore. (At least, not without rewriting it.) I had a very complex plot developed, but in the end, I don't think the Magus/Schala dynamic would have worked. I suppose, perhaps, that I just didn't believe it in the end, and felt that I was incapable of writing such a dark story.

I still have the entire story plan worked out, saved safely on my hard drive. The Chrono fandom has been drawing me back in as of late, so there is a fair possibility that I'll try to resurrect Silver Wings at some point in the future.

Sorry. :( Though, I am surprised that anyone was actually keeping up with the story! Other than one encouraging email, I had received several disapproving messages (all aghast that I'd dare write Magus/Schala), and in the end assumed that no one was really interested in it after all.

Thank you for the comment. At the very least, if I decide not to finish it, and if you'd like, I could always send you the story plan. It's long, but you'd know how it all ended. *shrug*

I apologize for intruding in, but I'm also a "Silver Wings" reader, who is very keen on hearing more of the story (and only recently found out you have a livejournal account). Seeing as the fic is unlikely to be updated in the future, is it at all possible for you to send said story plan over to my e-mail address? I'm really that desperate to read up more, regardless of how little there may be.

My e-mail address is rinkatink[AT]gmail[DOT]com, if you'd be kindly willing. ♥

Regardless, thank you for having written such a mesmerizing story. I am personally a very enthusiastic Magus/Schala shipper, but "Silver Wings" has been far more enticing to me than simply as a story on a rare pet pairing. :3

Oh?

Well, that's two people interested in hearing more on that story. :) I honestly didn't think anyone was interested in it. I'll finish it if there's people reading it. ^_^ I'd have two stories in front of it--one complete in need of editing, the other mostly complete and mostly edited. But yeah, if you'll read it, I'll write it! :)

And do you mind if I friend you? I've got to friend anyone who's a fan of either Schala or Magus. :)

And do you mind if I friend you?

It's absolutely my pleasure! I've added you back. ♥

But yeah, if you'll read it, I'll write it!

As long as it isn't pushing you too much, I'm more than up for it. In other words, you've just made my night. Thank you!

sorry to intrude i am also a silver wings fan! i loved it the moment i began it, and did not realize you had an lj either!

it has such fantastic potential and i am so sad to see it go to waste... :(

i would have given fb, but i alas do not have an aff.net account... (and they do not allow annons)

yeah, so just wanted to let you know, i thought the story was so beautiful, and when Janus finally held Schala, i felt my heart explode... so consider finishing it? please?

[identity profile] rushingwind.livejournal.com 2008-03-29 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
Hello! :)

Yes, as I've found out here, I seem to have a bit of a following for Silver Wings! (I had no idea or I'd have finished it long ago!) I like to think my writing is a little better than it used to be (whether or not I am delusional remains to be seen) so I'm a little more confident in my ability to write strange pairings.

The only strike I have against me now is that Magus/Schala is no longer a true OTP for me like it once was. I've been kind of drawn into Schala/Glenn (the Glenn from Chrono Cross, not Frog from CT), and yes, I know how off the friggin' wall that pairing is. :)

But a lot of people have expressed their interest in this story, so fear not! It shall be finished soon, as soon as I have a break from work. If you don't want to follow my journal for it, you can watch [livejournal.com profile] chrono_fanfic, where I'll post all my Chrono fanfics in the future. :)

Speaking of which, do you mind if I friend you? We few Chrono fans have to stick together! :)

[identity profile] little-dumpling.livejournal.com 2008-04-01 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I would love a friending! i do agree; as much as people love chrono's people don't seem willing to even consider fanfic as far as it is concerned!

oh! i'll be waiting for new fic! (no pressure!) xD
